Videotapes are scanned from beginning to end and whatever is not family-related is not recorded. Prices are based on each individual tape according to the time. In addition, tapes are combined if necessary to make up to a 2-hour DVD. A more accurate price is determined after scanning all the tapes to see how long each one runs and if they can be combined.
It is placed on a hard drive as well with the raw footage (editing is extra) normally in date order. Some dates are encoded on the tape if not labeled.
The flash drive with your media should not be used for long term storage of your valuable memories. We highly recommend that you immediately transfer the files on your flash drive to two different internal or external hard drives and/or Cloud Storage to safeguard your files. We have a 30 day guarantee for digital transfers - Please inform us within 30 days if there are any problem with your files on flash drive since we delete your files after 30 days.
Video tape transfer Prices:
- From 1 hr. & 31 minutes to 2 hrs. - $20.00
- From 31 minutes to 1 hr. & 30 minutes - $15.00

Extra copies for a DVD are normally $7.50 each, but only charge new customers $5.00.
As far as films go, they are color corrected, cleaned, repaired and inspected and music is added (optional). If silent, there is no extra charge. Films are $12 per 50 feet, and they can be placed on a DVD or hard drive in MOV or AVI files.
Audio tapes and records are placed on a CD, which has a maximum record time of 80 minutes and is $15 per 80 minute CD. Also tapes are repaired if broken for a small fee, and mold is removed from videotapes only if it is not too extensive. There is a 50/50 chance of recovery, and there is a minimum fee of $10.
