We found an old box of home movies from the 60s at my mothers. Larry did a great job on the transferring the old films to DVDs. He had them all done in a few days!! His prices are very reasonable. They are going to make great Christmas gifts!!! Thank You Larry

Had video tapes dating back 27 years showing visible mold. Sent them out to other vendors for transfer and received blank disks with no footage because tapes would break. Larry cleaned, repaired and transferred my tapes to PERFECT viewing quality. He communicated with me throughout the entire process before proceeding. Larry SAVED MY CHRISTMAS. I cannot thank him enough. He transferred my VHS cassette tape to DVD and mailed it back in one day so I will have it for Christmas morning. It’s our last Christmas in the home where my step daughters grew up in and having this back for Christmas morning means absolutely so much. He legit gave us the gift of Christmas Past.Larry. Truly. Larry is amazing. I brought approximately 22 tapes that I needed put on USBs and Cds to Larry. Some of the tapes had a little bit on them and others had more. Larry said not to worry, he was going to go through every one of them and get back to me later that day. I thought to myself thats crazy as there were so many tapes. This was on a Friday. Sure enough, he called me later that day telling me, all is good with them and he would get working on them. The next day, he called me and said everything is complete. When I went to pick everything up he showed me a little bit of a couple of them just because. I highly recommend Larry! Hes very professional, thorough and reliable! One more thing, he called me later in the day that I picked everything up to make sure that I was pleased with everything.

I have worked with Larry a few times over the years to convert 8mm to dvd and VHS to thumb. Larry is very professional. He is quick to respond to you. I have dropped off tapes and gotten them back the same day. He is fairly priced and does his best to salvage tapes in need of help. He has brought my family memories to life and that is priceless. I highly recommend converting your tapes and I highly recommmend using LJC video services to do it.

Commitment, equipment and professionalism required in capturing and converting old precious family memories to digital media calls not only for state of the art technology but also care, dedication and creative thinking all of which I found in abundance with Larry’s LJC VIDEO SERVICES. Larry was not only prompt and efficient, but he also consistently searched and found solutions (including in his arsenal of old and new equipment) when the problems with damaged or badly recorded tapes seemed unsurmountable. He treated the materials as his personal memories. I brought to Larry a mixed basket of 8mm & supper8 film strips from 1950s, various size and standard (NTSC & PAL) VHS tapes from 1980s as well as assortment of 8mm DV and mini DV tapes from 1990s: altogether a basket of around 40 items equivalent to around 70 hours of playing time. First, in my presence he scanned and tested every single item, determined their playability, approach for conversion and sections for inclusion (thus eliminating blank unrecorded segments). Whenever he would run into problem, he would explore alternative avenues including physically tinkering with the tapes and equipment. The turnaround time for completing each batch of about 10 items was a day. Altogether, the whole job was completed in a week.Thanks are not enough for the deeply appreciated service Larry had provided. He restored lifelong memories to be relived at a press of a button and to be passed on for my descendants.
